At the Niagara Health Expo, the HNHB Regional Cancer Program will be promoting FIT, the new at-home test that screens for colon cancer. The province launched this test in June, so it’s new (and free) for Ontario residents.

Visit the RCP booth at the Expo to learn about their programs covering mammograms, Pap tests and tobacco cessation, as well as the Mobile Cancer Screening Coach services in Niagara.

Meet the team from the RCP to ask your questions and get free advice on their  screening services.

The Regional Cancer Program, in partnership with Cancer Care Ontario, encourages Ontario residents to get screened for Breast, Cervical and Colon  cancer as part of their routine medical care through the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP), Ontario Cervical Screening Program (OCSP) and ColonCancerCheck (CCC).

These free, high-quality cancer screening programs focus on prevention and early detection. Thousands of Ontario residents are alive and healthy today because they got screened and were able to either prevent cancer or find it early.
