Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers will answer important questions at the Niagara Health Expo. For example, who funds healthcare and options for recovery when a sudden injury or illness occurs? This is a question among other advice you can expect to hear from a presentation by Dianne Henderson, Medical Consultant, Gluckstein Lawyers, at the Niagara Health Expo.
A sudden injury or illness can be devastating to a family. Added to the stress is the uncertainty related to one’s rights and health care options. This presentation will inform attendees of the changes with the legislation that affect every automobile insurance policy in Ontario and will illustrate the importance of understanding the implications of the changes should one be involved in a automobile accident. An introduction to our newly released booklet “Managing Your Recovery in Ontario – A Self Advocacy Guide” will follow.
Dianne will illustrate how the guide can best be used as a directory of the changes to the legislation and as a guide to the steps following an accident. In addition, Dianne will explain how our booklet can be used as a resource for publicly funded programs and services that may be required as the current automobile insurance system appears to be shifting the responsibility of care and recovery from the insurer to the public system.
Everyone who attends the presentation will receive a copy of our booklet compliments of Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers. Contact us today to reserve a seat at the small group presentation to be held at 10:30 am at the Niagara Health Expo on October 1 in the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. Catharines.
