COPD Program Lunch | Learn Session Hosted by Niagara Falls Community Health Centre

Caring for MY COPD lunch and learn

Health promotion is about making the right connections and starting conversations on wellness and embracing healthy lifestyles. Through collaborations and professional networking, the Niagara Health Expo partners help us learn about healthy behaviours and healthy choices.

With this in mind, here is related news from one of the event partners in the Niagara Health Expo.

Rebecca Swick, Occupational Therapist / Certified Respiratory Educator,  Niagara Falls Community Health Centre invites us to a Lunch and Learn session on COPD.  The presentation will be hosted by Niagara Falls Community Health Centre on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00pm

Attendees can enjoy lunch and learn about COPD in Niagara.  The session will also cover how their free, 10-week program for individuals living with COPD, could benefit your patients or clients. During the one-hour L & L session, participants will meet the NFCHC team, and hear first-hand how this program has impacted people’s lives.

RSVP Amanda by Friday, August 16, 2019. 905-356-4222 ext. 237 or email Please inform Amanda of any dietary restrictions.

Networking at the Expo

An exhibitor at the Niagara Health Expo in 2018, the NFCHC promoted their COPD program at our community event, while networking with practitioners and healthcare workers from other organizations.

Pictured at their booth in the 2018 Expo, Rebecca Swick informed visitors about the COPD program at the  Niagara Falls Community Health Centre.

The L & L presentation will cover the NFCHC outpatient pulmonary rehab program and COPD in the Niagara Region in general.

Even if you do not directly work with clients or patients, the presentation can be a newsworthy resource to share with community members or health care related workers.

The Niagara Falls Community Health Centre is located on 4790 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls.
